Achamore House boasts 11 superb rooms, each with its own character. All the rooms are on the first floor, accessible via the stunning wooden staircase that passes under the feature windows in the hall. Please browse through the rooms below, clicking on the image will show a much larger version.

 

Bridal Suite - A spacious entrance hall has the bedroom immediately ahead and a large en suite bathroom off to the left. The bedroom is dominated by a spectacular super-king size 4-poster bed and a large south facing bay window. Natural light abounds in this room with the east facing window giving views across the gardens. Don's collection of orchids also share this room, adding colour and a sense of tranquility. A large open fireplace dominates one wall and there is ample storage with the antique furniture.

Tower Suite - A large bedroom with a king size bed, a suite of beautiful antique furniture and an en suite bathroom set in a tower. An east-facing rounded bay windows finished with stone on the inside provides a stunning view over the gardens, tempting you to relax in one of the armchairs and while away the hours.
Col. Horlick’s Room - A stunning large room with a king size bed, DVD player, en suite bathroom, and bay windows facing east over the gardens. A very tastefully decorated room that is so large that it may have up to two single beds brought in when needed (as when used as part of the Family Suite).

Lady Horlick’s Room - Large room with two double beds, bathroom is 20 feet down the hall with an east facing window. giving superb views over the gardens. This room may combine with Col. Horlick’s Room via the connecting door to form a substantial Family Suite

Burgundy Room - A large room with twin double beds and a window that faces east overlooking the gardens. A large antique wardrobe and matching chest of drawers set the tone for this beautifully decorated room that is complemented by some of Don's digital photographs.

Blue Room - With two large beds this room is dominated by a stunning antique double wardrobe. The large east-facing window overlooking the gardens and the understated pastel colours gives this room a real feeing of calm. The double wardrobe is a spectacular piece of furniture.

Owl Room - A single room with a wooden double bed with a lovely bathroom adjacent. A south facing window overlooks the courtyard at the rear of the house. As with all the rooms in Achamore House, the antique furniture is of a very high standard. The back spiral staircase opens up directly adjacent to this room.

Mackintosh Room - Two double beds with a bathroom just across hall. The north facing window overlooks a lovely wild section of the gardens, and the room is handily placed next door to library. The room is very light and airy and one of the mostly beautifully decorated rooms in the house with its feature fireplace and antique furniture.

Room Eight - With feature fireplace, built in storage space and Don's mounted photographs, this tastefully decorated room has a very homely feel. The two double beds complement the Art Deco furniture and the north-facing window overlooking the gardens give a lovely light. There is a bathroom immediately across the hall.

Lilac Room - A well proportioned room and with windows facing south and west is beautifully lit with natural light. Again a high standard of antique furniture and a bathroom adjacent.

Pink Room - This light and airy room has a stunning feature bay window looking to west, comprising three separate windows. A fitted cupboard and sink make this a very comfortable room.
