| Snooker Room: While away a rainy afternoon - yes it does rain occasionally on Gigha - or play a quick frame before your bed. The full-size snooker table is an old table recently refurbished and plays very well. Complemented by top-quality cues, scoreboard and rests, everything is at hand for a fine game of snooker. The rooms itself is a large, spacious room with south facing windows overlooking the gardens. A large vaulted ceiling completes the room. |

Library: A relaxing and very quiet room with a sofa and comfortable chairs, and an extensive collection of books on: orchids; Classical Greek literature; poetry; novels; children’s books (including the complete Adventures of Tintin); spiritual titles, etc. Comfortable chairs allow you to sink in, curl up with a good book and lose yourself for a couple of hours. |
| Dining Room: With seating for up to 30 people (comfortably, but a few more at a pinch), the ideal space for group evening meals, prepared by local wünder-chef Viv Oliver. This ornate room has a baroque feel, panel walls and large bay windows. |

TV Lounge: With a new 50-inch DLP screen, and over 430 DVD’s to choose from, a great spot for those occasional wet and windy nights. A large comfy sofa and chairs makes this an excellent 'cinematic' room. |
We also offer to our guests the use of an iPod in their room, with either small speakers or headphones. The range of music held in the iPod is extensive: 20 gigabytes of: Opera, Jazz, Folk, Classical, Rock & Roll, Traditional Scottish, Pop, and even a a bit of Reggae. A few talking books, including stories for children (useful at bedtime) are also stored on each iPod.
Croquet is also available to play on the lawn in front of the house.
